Dr Andrew Kelsey
ChairmanA former pupil of RGS, Andrew qualified from Manchester University Medical School in I975.
After holding hospital posts in England and Scotland and general practice in Cumbria, he returned to Ramsey in 1984 with his wife Susan and his two children, to become a partner in Ramsey Group Practice. One of the major attractions of this post was that it involved looking after patients at Cottage Hospital where he also held the position of Associate Specialist in Anaesthetic’s.
After his retirement from practice in 2011, Andrew has been able to maintain this close relationship with the hospital, as chairman of the RDCH Welfare Fund where he has been actively involved in securing funding for important hospital projects.
Roger Corkill
TrusteeAfter 3 years in higher education in the UK, Roger returned to the Island in 1976, and held various positions in financial services, until he set up his own accountancy and fiduciary company in 1992. This successful business was merged into Atla Group in 2022, with whom Roger now acts as a consultant, and he also holds trusteeships in a number of local charities.
Anne Craine
TrusteeHas a long-time record of public service in Ramsey and across the Island. As an elected Member of the Board of Education she held the role of Chairman of Ramsey Grammar School Governing Body. Connected with youth at every level, she was a founder of the Ramsey Young Peoples Project (Beryl’s Bus).
In 2003, Anne was proud to be elected to represent Ramsey as its Member of the House of Keys where she held the posts of both Minister for Education and Minister for Treasury. Anne`s extensive experience of many fields brings a broad perspective to the role of Trustee.
Peggy Freeman
TrusteeRGN DipN, Bsc (hon) Nurse Practitioner, MBA, who has considerable experience in many aspects of nursing in the USA, England and the Isle of Man. Her experiences include ward and theatre nursing, management at department and board level and secondment to the University of Brighton, to undertake research into clinical effectiveness across England.
Sharon Mealin
A former student of RGS from 1986 who has worked for local companies within the administration and accounts departments until recently, now working within hospitality and well being.
